For reading I have been learning about adverbial clauses. I have found this learning challenging because I hadn't

I can recognise and understand a variety of grammatical constructions and some rhetorical patterns

In this unit I have been learning about:
  • The parts of speech.
  • The types of nouns.
  • The types of sentences.


In this unit, I found challenging the test because I hadn't learnt the things in it for a while.

Something new I learnt was what a Preposition is.

WALT- I can find, select and use a range of texts for specific learning purposes in different tasks and learning areas of the curriculum.

For my “Evaluating Leaders” research I have been researching about who is a better leader between Barack Obama and Richie McCaw.


During this unit I have had to use a range of strategies to find the information I needed on Google. This include: Cross check, reference and link the information to my doc.


I have achieved this goal because I have cross checked and linked information to my doc.

My next step is to set a new reading goal.
