MMMR- Maths

WALT: Find and validate data measures e.g mean, median,mode and range from appropriate displays.

MODE: It's the number you see the most in the group of numbers.

MEDIAN: Put the numbers from smallest to largest and then find the one in the middle.

MEAN: Add all the numbers up and then divide it by how many numbers there are.

RANGE: Subtract the highest from the lowest.

Leadership- Leadership meetings

I can find, select and use a range of texts for specific learning purposes in different tasks and learning areas of the curriculum.

For my “Evaluating Leaders” research I have been researching about who is a better leader between Barack Obama and Richie McCaw.

During this unit I have had to use a range of strategies to find the information I needed on Google. This include: Cross check, reference and link the information to my doc.

I have achieved this goal because I have cross checked and linked information to my doc.

My next step is to set a new reading goal.

I can read and interpret a range of graphs

For maths I have been learning to read and interpret a range of graphs. This relates to the National Standards as it meets the criteria of: Delete the ones that are not yours

• I can identify patterns and trends in context, within and between data sets (Year ⅚ standard)
• I can compare distributions visually (Year ⅞ Standard)
• I can compare sample distributions visually, using measures of centre, spread, and proportion (Year 9/10)
